English Workshop: Miranda without borders

On Friday, February 7, the closing and Global Fair of the "Miranda Sin Fronteras English Workshop" was held, it was attended by around 50 children, parents, representatives of the Juan Donaire Vizarreta School and Miranda, as well as the international volunteers who were providing English classes for the community. This project became a reality thanks to the alliance with the international organization AIESEC, the support of the Juan Donaire Vizarreta school and the initiative of Miranda and its social commitment to achieve Sustainable Development. It should be noted that more than 50 boys and girls have been directly benefited, and we are sure that the seeds of love for learning and discovering the world beyond their communities have been sown in them.

Volunteers from Brazil and Colombia were the heart of this project, they managed to share their knowledge, cultures and above all their talents; they broke paradigms and imaginary borders that often do not allow us to reach our full potential.

We learned that betting on education and communities development that surround us are essential to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
